System Cause Analysis Technique (SCAT) is a relatively easy to use tool that enables the search for the cause of loss events. To SCAT, the operational staff can identify quickly the corrective actions that would help avoid the occurrence of a similar event in the future.
This comprehensive training course is systematically designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills of the System Cause Analysis Technique (SCAT), for them to identify the causes of incidents, accidental and system failures.
SCAT is a systematic approach employed on evaluating and researching incidents with a view of identifying the causes, major contributing causes and prevent future occurrence. The participants will demonstrate knowledge of how and when to use SCAT in an organization, how data should be gathered, analyzed and how an organization can constructively manage risks.
