This Velosi Risk Assessment General Awareness course helps businesses to understand how to complete a proper workplace risk assessment. It outlines the five main steps of conducting a risk assessment, including how to identify risks, evaluate their severity and likelihood, document findings and implement changes. Participants will walk away from this course feeling confident in carrying out a risk assessment in their own premises and applying cost-effective solutions to mitigate the risks.
By completing this course, participants will be able to:
- understand the importance of risk assessments,
- understand the five main steps of the risk assessment process,
- identify and rate severity of common workplace hazards,
- propose and monitor effective control measures, and
- conduct effective risk assessments of their workplaces.
Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting, online. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
