Velosi is conducting Rigger - Level 3 Training
Rigger - Level 3 Training course is an advanced level training targeted for professional riggers, coordinating or supervising the most challenging and high-risk crane lifting operations. This advanced course introduces enhanced rigging practices, the management of loads and other essential skills in supervising large rigging projects. Participants will also understand how to meet safety and regulatory requirements, manage people, and work in some of the world’s most challenging rigging conditions.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

• Supervise and coordinate complex rigging jobs, heavy, tandem and multiple cranes lifts.
• Create discipline and monitor comprehensive rigging-plotting solutions in refrain from high-risk or nonstandard lifts.
• Calculate more basic load values and perform simple dynamic load evaluation.
• Maintain and oversee other types of rigging gear appropriate for harsh environments.
• Head count of rigging teams and ensure complete adherence to safety laws and policies of the company as well as the regulations of the vertical business industry.
• Identify and assess risks linked to the lifting operation.
• Identify, analyse specific hazards and implement measures to try and control them.
• Determine the accessibility of the plans for lifting and moving the load in order not to impact personnel or environment.
• Check for an approximate weight and assess the load adding an appropriate factor of safety.
• Explain, deliberate on and confirm comprehension of any prepared lifting plan and risk assessment relative to the lifting team.
• Consult, notify and coordinate with the suitable personnel action to take regarding the lifting operation in case of an emergency.
• Communicate with the concerned staff on the need for the lifting operation and any chance of a disruption of normalcy.
• Utilize lifting plan tools to help in moving the load in compliance with the rigging loft procedures.
• Determine pre-use inspection of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
• Shield the load from any danger of being damaged during the lifting process.
• Secure the lifting accessories to the load according to the best practice in the lifting industry.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training.
