The process of inspecting, maintaining, and repairing High Voltage Circuit Breakers encompasses an understanding of the fundamental components and functionality of prevalent circuit breaker types. These types include Molded-Case Circuit Breakers (MCCB), Insulated-Case Circuit Breakers (ICCB), Low-Voltage Power Circuit Breakers (LVPCB), Medium-Voltage Air-Magnetic Circuit Breakers (MVACB), and Medium-Voltage Vacuum Circuit Breakers (MVVCB).

The High Voltage Circuit Breaker Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair Training course is extensively designed to equip participants with the latest development in Circuit Breakers and to present some of the more common and updated aspects of high-voltage switchgear (circuit breaker) maintenance. Switchgear is a crucial component in the management and distribution of electrical power in industrial or power plant settings, as well as in utility distribution systems. Inadequate maintenance can result in decreased efficiency and reduced reliability of the power system.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

• Comprehend fundamental knowledge of high-voltage circuit breakers.
• Identify and analyze primary aspects of switchgear design, construction, and testing.
• Analyze voltage convention classifications.
• Understand the construction structure of switchgear.
• Characterize a ground fault relay system.
• Identify fundamental types of high, low, and medium-voltage circuit breaker contacts.
• Clarify molded case circuit breaker and its functionality.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training.
