Delivering Technical Excellence for QatarEnergy LNG
Qcon has officially awarded a contract to Velosi to carry out “Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Study for NFPS Compression Offshore WHP Brownfield Modifications Project COMP8A” for facilities operated by QatarEnergy LNG. The RBI assessment will be performed in accordance with applicable international standards and recommended practices for risk-based inspection of piping systems and associated equipment.
Velosi’s technical team will perform a risk-based inspection assessment fully compliant with API RP 580, API 581, API RP 570, API RP 571, API 510, API RP 574, and ASME B31.3. The scope of work includes a limited RBI assessment applicable only to four existing remote wellhead platforms (Brownfield), where modifications to existing piping systems and the addition of a few new corrosion loops connected to the new riser platform will be evaluated.
