Velosi Leads the SIMOPS Risk Assessment & Plan for Berri Onshore Facilities, Saudi Aramco
We are proud to announce that Velosi Asset Integrity Limited has been officially awarded the contract for “SIMOPS Risk Assessment & Plan” by Saudi Aramco.
This strategic project focuses on the Berri Onshore facilities, including Abu Ali, Berri South, and Causeway. Our mission is to engineer a comprehensive framework that ensures the highest safety standards during Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS), allowing for seamless coordination between NAWOD and JPD activities without compromising production continuity.
Project Scope & Technical Deliverables
At Velosi, we specialize in navigating the complexities of high-stakes operational environments. For the Berri Onshore facilities, our expert team will deliver the following:
- SIMOPS Risk Assessment and SIMOPS Plan.
- SIMOPS Workshop Facilitation and Reporting.
- Emergency Response Plan (ERP) for SIMOPS Activities.
- Risk Ranking and Control Measures in accordance with Saudi Aramco standards.
- SIMOPS Matrix specific to proposed operational activities.
Velosi will execute the following deliverables:
- Preparation and submission of Terms of Reference (TOR).
- SIMOPS Workshop and Risk Assessment Study.
- Preparation and submission of SIMOPS Workshop Report.
- Preparation and submission of Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
- Incorporation of company review comments and final submission of reports.
Outcomes
The SIMOPS study will evaluate simultaneous operational activities to identify potential hazards, assess operational risks, and establish appropriate safeguarding measures to ensure personnel safety, asset integrity, environmental protection, and uninterrupted production operations.
The workshop and study shall be conducted in accordance with Saudi Aramco requirements, GI 6.033, SMG 06-007, and applicable industry best practices.
