  • This 2-day training program provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to the Abu Dhabi
    Occupational Safety and Health System Framework (ADOSH SF) and its application in the workplace. Developed in line with the requirements of Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety and Health Center, the course is designed to build awareness of occupational health and safety responsibilities and promote a proactive safety culture across organizations in Abu Dhabi.

    The program covers the key principles of safety management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, and control measures. Participants will gain practical knowledge on incident reporting, emergency preparedness, and safe work practices, aligned with regulatory expectations and international best practices such as those from the International Organization for Standardization. Through a combination of interactive sessions, real-life case studies, and practical exercises, the training equips attendees with the skills needed to identify workplace hazards, assess risks, and contribute to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.

    By the end of the course, participants will have a clear understanding of ADOSH SF requirements, their roles and responsibilities in workplace safety, and how to support continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance.

  • By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

    • Understand the structure, purpose, and key elements of the Abu Dhabi Occupational Safety
      and Health Center Safety Framework (ADOSH SF).
    • Explain the legal and regulatory requirements related to occupational safety and health
      management in Abu Dhabi.
    • Understand the requirements for developing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an
      Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Management System in line with ADOSH SF.
    • Identify leadership roles, responsibilities, accountability, and worker participation
      requirements within an OSH management system.
    • Learn how to establish OSH policies, objectives, programs, and performance indicators.
    • Understand hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control requirements under
      ADOSH SF.
    • Learn the requirements for operational controls, permit systems, contractor management,
      and emergency preparedness.
    • Understand incident reporting, investigation, corrective actions, and lessons learned
      processes.
    • Recognize documentation, record control, compliance evaluation, inspection, and audit
      requirements.
    • Understand management review and continual improvement processes for effective OSH
      Management system implementation.
  • Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training. 

    Face-to-face training is available as per request.
