Electrical, Instrumental and Rotary Management Software (EIRMS) | VAIL-Plant® EIRMS Module

The Electrical, Instrumental and Rotary Management Software (EIRMS) is a key module of the VAIL-Plant Asset Integrity Management (AIM) software, specifically designed for the Oil & Gas, Power, and Petrochemical industries. Its core purpose is to manage and optimize the integrity and performance of three critical asset categories: electrical systems, instrumentation, and rotating equipment (such as pumps, compressors, and turbines).

The EIRMS module facilitates Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) by providing a structured framework to organize and track comprehensive maintenance, inspection, and failure history. It enables operators to evaluate asset condition, calculate critical metrics like Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and prioritize maintenance activities based on risk. By linking asset monitoring to maintenance systems and ensuring compliance with industry standards like API 580, EIRMS is an effective tool for improving asset health, reducing operational downtime, and achieving better control over overall operational efficiency.
