  • Velosi is conducting Reservoir Fluid (PVT) and EOS Training

This course will focus on the advanced and key topics of reservoir fluid properties, fundamentals, practical measurements, and workflows.

Velosi’s Reservoir Fluid (PVT) and EOS training course insights are practical, and as a participant, you will gain the opportunity to experience both real data and actual industry problems. This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fundamental phase behavior that is crucial for accurately describing and modeling Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) processes, as well as the depletion performance of complex fluid systems.

  • By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

    • Gain extensive knowledge about the phase behavior of reservoir fluids.
    • Calculate the PVT properties of reservoir fluids.
    • Characterize reservoir fluids using correlations and equations of state.
    • Analyze equations of state to match experimental data.
    • Apply PVT and EOS in reservoir engineering calculations.
    • Make informed decisions regarding the sampling and PVT laboratory procedures.
    • Generate accurate analysis.
    • Design and effectively utilize PVT laboratory reports, including those relevant to gas injection studies.
    • Develop robust EOS models to accurately represent reservoir fluid behavior.
    • Generate appropriate black-oil PVT tables for use in reservoir simulation.
  • Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training.

Face-to-face training is available as per request.

  • 05 Days of training from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM GST (UAE Time)

    • Presentation Slides
    • Training Recordings
    • Study References
  • Upon successful completion of training, participants will receive a " Reservoir Fluid (PVT) and EOS" course completion certificate.

  • This course is appropriate for a wide range of professionals but is not limited to:

    • Practicing reservoir engineers and/or researchers dealing with phase behavior and reservoir simulation.
    • Process & Chemical engineers
    • Geoscientists
    • Flow assurance engineers
