  • The Offshore Crane Inspector training course is systematically designed to equip participants with advanced inspection skills, prioritizing offshore cranes. Based on standards such as API RP 2D, API Spec 2C, ISO 19901-6, and BS EN 13852, this course aims to enhance knowledge and practical implantation of international and local regulations and standards for offshore cranes. Participants will achieve a high level of competency in conducting thorough and proficient inspections, understanding operational diagrams, and identifying potential equipment failures promptly.

  • By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

    • Identify various types of offshore cranes and their specific operational requirements.
    • Apply and interpret relevant standards and regulations including API RP 2D, API Spec 2C, ISO 19901-6, and BS EN 13852.
    • Conduct detailed inspections and create comprehensive inspections, pre-inspection, and rejection reports.
    • Understand load charts, and work range diagrams, and safely operate offshore cranes according to specified standards.
    • Manage real-world inspection scenarios through practical assessments, enhancing decision-making skills under operational conditions.
  • Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training. 

    Face-to-face training is available as per request.
