Velosi is conducting Drilling & Completion Overview Training

Velosi’s Drilling & Completion Overview training course will extensively outline the drilling and completion process, from the planning stages to the final production phase. Participants will learn about the different types of drilling rigs, the equipment and tools used in drilling, and the different types of completions that can be used during the operations of a well. The course will also cover the safety and environmental considerations associated with drilling and completion.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

• Describe the different stages of the drilling and completion process.
• Identify the different types of drilling rigs and equipment.
• Explain the different types of completions.
• Discuss the safety and environmental considerations associated with drilling and completion.
• Analyze the advantages and disadvantages of early and modern types of drilling styles.
• Identify rig type classification and selection for onshore and offshore drilling.
• Identify types of platforms and techniques used for offshore rigs.
• Understand the proper functioning of non-vertical drilling, including directional and horizontal drilling.
• Efficiently investigate components of a drilling system.
• Demonstrate the purpose and function of a rotating system.
• Understand drilling fluid properties and functions.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training.
