Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is used to treat patients experiencing Extended Cardiac Arrest. It is an equipment that can immediately determine and describe the heart rhythm and, if desired, administer an electric impulse or defibrillate to assist the heart in counterfeiting an appropriate rhythm. This makes it necessary that everyone should have some basic knowledge about AED so that if need arises, a person can use it attentively.

This course intends to provide participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to respond to sudden cardiac arrest events. By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
