Job Description
The ISD Review Chairman shall meet the following minimum requirements:
- ISD Review Chairman shall be independent from the project under review and knowledgeable of the ISD philosophy and all information outlined in this standard;
- ISD Review Chairman shall have at least 10 years relevant industrial experience including process engineering and technical safety; and
- The ISD Review Chairman shall also have excellent time management, communication and presentation skills.
- To avoid conflicts of interest, engineering contractor and technical safety studies consultant shall not chair any ISD Review performed for projects in which they are involved in the design.
- Managing discipline work to the required schedule and man-hour allocation, including requesting personnel as identified by the plan,
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably with area of study in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process Engineering or equivalent
- Should have ADNOC Project experience for the ISD Review workshop
- Minimum of 15-25 years Process, Process Safety exposure in oil and gas industry.
- Knowledge of safety related codes, standards and recommended practices.
- Should have ADNOC Project experience for the ISD Review workshop
- Inherent knowledge of domestic regulatory requirements.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
- Good understanding of a complete HSE Management System
