A Major Marine Dredging Company in the Middle East has awarded a contract to Velosi to conduct Risk Based Inspection for ESTIDAMA Sales Gas Pipeline Network Enhancement in United Arab Emirates.
According to the project, Velosi Technical team will perform the inspection of Static Equipment & Piping System, Pressure Safety Valves and Pipelines for ESTIDAMA Sales Gas Pipeline Network Enhancement Package 3.
API RBI quantitative assessment study will conduct for piping and equipment in accordance with the latest revision of the API RP581 standard using GE APM 4.6 software whereas VAIL-Plant® (Velosi’s proprietary software) will utilize for RBI assessment of pipelines.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐑𝐁𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐨:
• All Pressure Piping (Process and Utility)
• Static Pressure Containment Equipment
• Pressure Relief Devices / Valves (PRD /PRV)
• Pipelines
• And any static items listed under API 580 and API 581

• Test frequencies for relief valves and PSVs will be define through RBI
• Final RBI Manual
