Velosi has been appointed by JGC Fluor BC LNG Joint Venture (JFJV) to execute the Risk Based Inspection (RBI) study of the Shell LNG Canada Project, using the Shell Risk Based Inspection (s-RBI) methodology. The plant consisted of two liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities, each with two processing trains capable of producing 6.5 million tons of LNG per year, LNG storage tanks, and shipping facilities, including a jetty. The plant will be constructed and located in Kitimat, British Columbia, Canada.

Scope

The Project Scope of work includes Risk Based Inspection of the static equipment and piping for the following Units of Shell LNG:
