Star Energy ADVARIO has awarded a contract to Velosi to conduct the Hazardous Area Classification study for SEAD Terminal at Jebel Ali Port in Dubai
Star Energy ADVARIO is an independent terminal specialized in providing bulk storage, handling and related services to the oil and petrochemical industries.
The terminal has been operating inside the Jebel Ali Port Complex since its commissioning in 1988, and from 2004, has been under the joint ownership of Abu Dhabi-based Star Energy Group Limited.
The scope of the project includes consolidation and revalidation of the Hazardous Area Classification of the SEAD Terminal facility as per EI-15 (Model Code of Practice Part 15, Area Classification for Petroleum Installations). The Hazardous Area Classification study will be conducted keeping in view the modifications undergone on the facility and identify the change in Hazardous Areas of the facility.
