Maintenance Studies for Fadhili Gas Plant Increment Project (FGIP) EPC Package – 2

Velosi Asset Integrity Limited has been awarded a contract by GS Construction Arabia Co. Ltd. for a new project, “Maintenance Study for Fadhili Gas Plant (FGIP) EPC Package – 2”.

The main objective of the project is to develop the Maintenance Study for the Fadhili Gas Increment Program (FGIP) as part of the Saudi Aramco Offshore Gas Increment Program Project.

Velosi will perform the following scope of work:

1. Asset Register, Equipment Criticality Analysis and RCM Study, and CMMS Templates Population:

• Asset Register: The Velosi team involved shall start identification of tags from documents such as Equipment List, P&IDs, Single Line Diagram, & Identification of system, sub-system, functional location, and preparation of equipment hierarchy/boundary as per ISO-14224 Saudi Aramco SAMG-RE-0021 (Asset Hierarchical Structure for Core Business – Supplementary Guide).
• Equipment Criticality Analysis: Using Asset Criticality Assessment (ACA) Guidelines SABP-A-084 Velosi shall develop a list for all installed assets and conduct an equipment criticality assessment showing equipment criticality alongside its maintenance strategy, including but not limited to RCM, GI-1000.500, (SAES)-J-601, in addition to all other applicable standards.
• RCM Study: Velosi team shall conduct an RCM study starting from reviewing P&IDs and asset hierarchy, performing a failure mode and effects analysis (FMECA) based RCM study line with SAEJA1011/1012, defining the task and its effectiveness, optimizing the recommended task as applicable, and submitting the RCM report as deliverable.
• CMMS Templates: SAP functionality that enables the writing of data into CMMS from bespoke templates to allow for bulk upload. The Velosi Team will first develop a detailed methodology and use it as the predominant method for data entry. The Procedure shall include steps to verify the data before and after it is uploaded to SAP.
• Spare Part Interchangeability Record: Velosi shall review the current spare parts philosophy document in line with the Company guidelines and specifications. Velosi shall provide the spare parts technical review sheet as a deliverable.

1. Development of Maintenance Procedures:

• The main objective of this project is to develop new Maintenance Procedures for Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, and Telecom equipment for the Fadhili Gas Increment Program (FGIP) EPC Package – 2.
• A total number of sixty (60) Maintenance Procedures will be prepared under this scope. Final documents will be issued in Word, PDF, and in the SAP Standard text template.

1. Risk Based Inspection (RBI), On-Stream Inspection (OSI), and Corrosion Management Program (CMP) Study.

• Risk Based Inspection (RBI) Study: Velosi shall perform Risk Based Inspection (RBI) for the FGP Facility of Saudi Aramco that complies with the latest editions of API 580 and API 581. The assessment will be performed with API RBI software (V 5.0.3) in accordance with SAEP-343. Velosi shall submit Corrosion Loop and Inventory Group marked-up PFDs/P&IDs, RBI Software Database, and RBI Report as final deliverables.
• Corrosion Control Document (CCD): Corrosion Control Document (CCD) is the main deliverable under Corrosion Management Program (CMP) Study, which will be developed in accordance with the requirements of SAEP-88.
• On Stream Inspection (OSI) Program: Velosi shall develop the OSI Program as per the latest standard SAES-A-135. Velosi shall also perform CML marking of equipment, GA drawings, and piping isometric drawings, and apply CMLs based on the latest standard approach (SAES-A-135 Rev. 2024).

Velosi shall submit On-stream Inspection (OSI) Drawings, Dead Leg Register, and programs of SBP, DL, CUI, and Chemical Injection, with the final OSI Report as deliverables.
