Velosi is conducting Welder Safety Training                    
Welder Safety Training is systematically designed to ensure that welders acquire basic skills and knowledge required for safe working practices on a job. This course recognises several aspects of safety measures, risks assessment and legal requirements concerning welding activities. By the end, the participants will grasp measures of handling welding equipment, safety measures in handling materials and methods of preventing hazards during welding to reduce risk factors in a workplace setting.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

• Determine hazards/risks relating to welded structures at the workplace.
• Use safety precautions for safeguarding.
• Identify appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task, put on, wear and remove it correctly.
• Utilize appropriate welding materials and gases in the proper procedure of handling and storing.
• Identify and implement various policies and code of practice governing safety in welding.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training. 

Face-to-face training is available as per request.

Upon successful completion of training, participants will receive a "Welder Safety" course completion certificate.
