Course Overview

Manual Handling Safety Training at Velosi focuses on conveying knowledge and skills required by the participants to handle manual tasks safely. This training aims at appreciating the hazards related to manual handling, mastering how to lift properly and using various precautionary measures in order to incur no injuries. In formulating safe manual handling knowledge, participants are required to perform practical handling and discussion in different work setting.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

• Understand and recognize common risks associated with manual handling tasks.
• Identify safe manual handling techniques and ergonomics to minimize injury risk.
• Demonstrate and practice correct lifting, carrying, and lowering methods to ensure safety.
• Identify, analyze, and assess manual handling tasks relevant to potential risks and implement control measures.
• Promote safe manual handling practices within the workplace to enhance the overall safety culture.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
