Job Description
Principal Maintenance Excellence Specialist with inventory management exposure (preferred Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument)
Engagement: 6 months
- Analyze the inventory management processes, historical maintenance data, including maintenance cost/effort and failure data (for key equipment), for all sites and create business mapping/ benchmarking with industry references.
- Lead the maintenance inventory/spare part optimization project
- Identify opportunities for BOM standardization across sites for key equipment.
- Provide Technical Maintenance Excellence expertise and consultancy at different fields of maintenance related to inventory management.
- Develop inventory maintenance management KPI for studies/analysis.
- Facilitate and manage the coordination between the end users, other divisions, Vendor/Contractor, and other agencies involved in the projects.
Competency/qualification requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
- Strong experience (minimum 10 years) in engineering, maintenance and ERP Systems (Preferable SAP) in large industrial organization especially oil and gas industry.
- In-depth knowledge of working principles related to the equipment used in Oil & Gas
- Experiences in inventory/ maintenance spares optimization process using Lean Management Process
- Good knowledge and understanding in stock and inventory reports development.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of inventory & warehouse activities which support operations and maintenance, as well as managing Master Data standards
- Familiarity of international design codes and standards, related to asset management and maintenance.
- Good understanding about shutdown planning and coordination
- Planning and Organizing, Scheduling and Coordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording
- Familiar with Budget, schedule, risk analysis studies.
- Strong technical and commercial analytics skills.
- Knowledge of HSE procedures & practices
