Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering
Job Responsibilities
- Maintain and troubleshoot transmitters, analyzers, control valves, PLC/DCS systems, and ESD/FGS safety systems.
- Perform calibration, loop checks, functional tests, and diagnostics.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with ISA/IEC standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare calibration reports, maintenance documents, and records.
- Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and operations teams.
- Support system upgrades, modifications, and shutdown work.
- Conduct RCA for repeated instrumentation failures.
- Manage spare parts, calibration tools, and vendor coordination.
- Train and support junior instrumentation technicians.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation, Control, or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of instrumentation maintenance experience in the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong technical knowledge of PLC, DCS, SCADA, and field instrumentation.
- Experience with hazardous area (Ex/ATEX) instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of PTW, LOTO, and process safety systems.
