EC for North Field Production Sustainability Offshore & Pipelines Project

The Project Scope of work included Risk Based Inspection Planning encompassing the following activities to be carried out:

• Corrosion Loop Drawings
• Corrosion Loop Description
• Piping Group Drawings
• Inventory Group Drawings
• IOWs
• SAP Upload Templates
• RBI Meridium Data Upload Template

A comprehensive approach was set to ensure all essential components integral to the project scope were included.

• Development of Piping Asset Register
• Utilized Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Heat and Material Balance for:

1. Developing Corrosion Loops
2. Assigning Degradation Mechanisms for each loop

• Employed Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (PIDs) to demarcate Corrosion Loops from PFDs
• Created Corrosion Loop Description Document for each loop marked on PFDs
• Grouped Piping in a piping circuit using Asset Register:
• Marked boundaries of each piping circuit on PID
• Developed Piping Circuit Drawings
• Marked Inventory Groups with clear boundaries on PFDs
• Identified critical process parameters and Integrity Operating Windows for each Corrosion Loop based on Degradation Mechanisms
• Developed SAP template for asset creation in SAP
• Created RBI Templates for Risk Assessment and Inspection Plan generation in GE APM – Meridium.

Velosi’s team of expert individuals successfully conducted a Based Inspection Study at SAIPEM NFPS offshore and Pipeline Projects as per COMPANY requirements.
