This exam preparation training course provides an in-depth introduction to the Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC®) certification. It covers the importance of BCSP certification, the requirements, the application process, and information about the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). The STSC certification training is an advanced course that equips the participants to be familiar with construction site risks, learn ways of promoting safety compliance, and improve safety responsibility among their subordinates. From risk evaluation to compliance and emergency plans to communication and much more, the course familiarizes participants with the STSC® examination program, in addition to providing the necessary tools to strengthen the construction safety culture. As an applied and industry-focused learning experience, participants will acquire the knowledge to lead safety excellence and compliance on construction sites.
STSC encourages construction supervisors, managers, superintendents, forepersons, crew chiefs, and people who are responsible for ensuring the safety and prevention of hazards in construction sites.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

- Training Requirement
- 30 hours of formal safety-related training
- Experience Requirement
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience; OR
- Four (4) years of work experience (work experience must be a minimum part-time [18 hrs/week] to qualify), OR an associate degree or higher in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, or Construction Management; OR Completion of a 2-year trade or union training program/apprenticeship.
