Job Description
Principal Maintenance Excellence Specialist with category management exposure (Priority is Mechanical/Rotating discipline)
- Analyze the maintenance processes, historical maintenance data, including maintenance cost/effort and failure data (for key equipment), for all sites and create business mapping/ benchmarking with industry references.
- Provide Technical Maintenance Excellence expertise and consultancy at different fields such as Mechanical/Rotating Equipment.
- Identify opportunities for BOM standardization across sites for key equipment.
- Explore the opportunities for improvement with respect to the work order planning and scheduling across sites.
- Explore the opportunities for standardization or utilization of PM Library across sites.
- Explore the opportunities in digital transformation with respect to maintenance processes and strategies.
- Develop maintenance management KPI using SAC (or any available tool) for AGP studies/analysis.
- Review and streamline the operation task list to improve the end user experience and efficiency (e.g.: – attach the task list / link the detailed task list etc.)
- Lead the development of plan, schedule, cost estimate and budget for the project.
- Provide monitoring and technical expertise to ensure effective Management of all the projects phases and prepare highlights and progress report.
- Facilitate and manage the coordination between the end users, other divisions, Vendor/Contractor, and other agencies involved in the project.
- Monitor expenditure against approved budget on a regular basis; investigate, highlight, and reconcile any significant variances to ensure effective performance and cost control.
Competency/qualification requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering.
- Strong experience (minimum 10 years) and knowledge of maintenance management process of mechanical, rotating equipment and ONE ERP EAM modules in oil and gas industry.
- Experience in maintenance optimization process using Lean Management Process
- Extensive experience in mechanical/rotating equipment design, engineering, construction and maintenance and operation in the oil and gas industry
- Familiarity of international design codes and standards, related to design, procurement, construction, (pre) commissioning and hand-over specification packages for rotating equipment
- Familiarity of the capabilities and shortcomings of major rotating equipment manufacturers, and a proven track record of conducting technical and commercial negotiations with them
- Good knowledge about monitoring and predictive maintenance programs associated with mechanical/rotating equipment
- Knowledge of HSE procedures & practices
- Planning and Organizing, Scheduling and Coordinating, Checking, Examining and Recording
- Advanced knowledge/practice of Category management, Scoping, Production, Maintenance processes, Systems analysis & Change management systems/methodologies in Oil & Gas.
- Familiar with Budget, schedule, risk analysis studies and ERP Systems (Preferable SAP).
- Strong technical and commercial analytics skills.
