The Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) certification program is the only ISO-accredited credential for individuals working in the maintenance, reliability, and physical asset management fields. The program validates maintenance, reliability, and physical asset management professionals.
Certification Details
CMRP certification is awarded by the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals (SMRP). It promotes and evaluates the knowledge in manufacturing process reliability, equipment reliability, leadership, and organization.
Certification Process
CMRP certification process is easy to understand and follow. Let us overview certain steps which will assist you in smoothly completing the certification process.
The following steps should be noted:
- Application Process
All the applications should be completed and submitted online at the SMRP Online Services Portal.
- Examination Details
- The examination is conducted online
- The examination duration will be 150 minutes
- It constitute 110 MCQs / 2 Parts
- The Passing score is 75% in all pillars
- CMRP Certification Validity
The CMRP Certification is valid for 3 years
- Test Format
The test is computer-based – The CMRP exams will be delivered online via computer-based testing at Pearson VUE testing centers.
- Despite any location, the exam will be presented the same way.
- One question at a time will be displayed on the computer screen. Examinees may select an answer using their mouse or keyboard.
- The examinee will have access to a calculator on the screen,
- Have access to a timer indicating the amount of time left and a flag icon to mark a question for review throughout the entire exam session.
- Test Results
- Preliminary results will appear onscreen after the exam.
- Candidates may access full results immediately upon exiting the exam by logging into their Pearson VUE online profile.
- The examination score reports shall reflect pass or fail status.
- Candidates shall be given access to diagnostic, non-numerical information indicating their overall performance for each domain of the exam.
