FALCOR has awarded a contract to Velosi for the Independent Verification Body and Written Scheme Examinations for an offshore EPC project of a major oil and gas company in the Middle East.
The major oil and gas Company appoints an Independent Verification Body to carry out Technical Integrity Verification (TIV) activities.
Technical Integrity Verification (TIV) ensures that the HSECES are designed, fabricated, installed, and commissioned without any conflict with MAC requirements specified in the Project phase Performance Standards and are then maintained as per the MAT requirements specified in the Operate phase Performance Standards. It also confirms that the assurance activities are implemented and carried out by competent personnel.
Velosi’s technical team will perform all the TIV processes, for this project and the evidence collected by the IVB team during TIV activities shall be reported in detail in the WSE sheets.
All TIV results shall be risk-ranked as High, High-Medium, Medium, or Low based on the end user’s Corporate Risk Assessment Matrix (RAM)
The IVB Team Leader shall validate the TIV results and related evidence of the ICP team. Based on the pass/fail status of the Performance Standard criteria (MAC or MAT), the appropriate result category shall be assigned to each performance criterion and overall technical integrity status.
The Independent Verification Body scope will include the following tasks and activities:
• Project Execution Plan
• Project Quality Plan
• HSECES Identification Review Report
• HSECES Performance Standard Review Report
• HSECES Written Scheme of Examination – EPC Phase (Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction and commissioning stages)
• Non-compliance reports
• Non-compliance close-out reports
• HSECES Technical Integrity Verification Report (HSECES-TIV) – EPC Phase (Detailed Engineering, Procurement, Construction and commissioning stages)
• Initial Statement of Suitability
• Certificate of Compliance for Integrity Verification of HSECES
