The start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes of a power plant are crucial for its effective functioning. By conducting these processes efficiently, the overall performance of the system and its individual components can be optimized. As we are familiar with how each start-up of a plant is a distinct occurrence that can present unique challenges. To prevent the process from becoming extended and costly, it is highly important to have the necessary experience to address any potential hazards associated. It is also crucial for an organization to familiarize its employees with new equipment, processes, and technologies and to develop suitable operating and safety protocols.

Velosi’s extensive course will provide a comprehensive knowledge of the plant start-up, commissioning, and troubleshooting processes that involve a variety of activities such as preparation and planning, mechanical completion and integrity checking, P&ID checking and verification, and all stages of commissioning. Participants will be able to comprehend different types of troubleshooting techniques to minimize plant downtime eventually enhancing plants’ productivity.

By the end of this course, participants will learn to:

• Understand the different stages and checklists involved in the pre-commissioning and commissioning stages.
• Develop an extensive commissioning strategy and manage plant start-ups.
• Address machinery and equipment-specific issues during the commissioning stage.
• Manage the commissioning of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Utilities Systems.
• Execute commissioning management plan, including resource planning and budgeting.
• Identify and implement procedures for process plant Startup and Commissioning.
• Implement troubleshooting and problem-solving strategies during the commissioning stage.

Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training.
