Velosi is conducting Electrical Battery Charging Safety Training
Different types of batteries have different charging requirements, and using the wrong charging method can result in damage to the battery or even create a safety hazard. This course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and effectively charge batteries. The proper training is required to ensure safe and efficient charging procedures.
-
By the end of this course, participants will learn to:
- Understanding the principles of electrical battery charging and the different types of batteries and charging methods.
- Identifying potential hazards associated with battery charging and how to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Learning how to properly inspect and maintain batteries before and after charging to ensure safe operation and optimal performance.
- Selecting the appropriate charging equipment for a given battery type and voltage.
- Developing the skills to monitor the charging process and identify potential issues such as overcharging, overheating, or short circuits.
- Understanding the importance of personal protective equipment and following proper safety protocols during the charging process.
- Developing the skills to properly dispose of old or damaged batteries in an environmentally responsible manner.
-
Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared one day before the first day of training.
Face-to-face training is available as per request.
