Scope
The main objective of this project was to conduct a PHA Revalidation Study & Drawing Update. This project encompasses multiple key activities across various sites, which include:
- Zabirah Mine
- Ghazalah Mine
- Madinah Processing Plant
Process
A Comprehensive approach is set forth to ensure all essential components integral to the project scope are included.
Outcome
Velosi successfully updated all P&IDs to accurately reflect the as-built conditions of the facilities. Comprehensive HAZOP studies were conducted for the Zabirah Mine, Ghazalah Mine, and the Madinah Processing Plant. Following these studies, a detailed LOPA was performed for high-risk scenarios, enhancing the understanding and management of potential risks.
The project also led to the formulation of numerous recommendations to bolster the existing safety systems. These recommendations addressed identified shortcomings and proposed enhancements to improve risk management and operational safety. All findings and suggestions were meticulously documented, providing a robust framework for advancing safety and efficiency across the operations.
The study ensured that the facilities adhere to current safety standards and operational best practices, supporting MA’ADEN’s commitment to safe and efficient mineral production.
