Groupement TouatGaz has awarded a contract to Velosi to conduct a full and comprehensive revalidation of their Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) study, initially performed in 2014 in Algeria.
The revalidation will integrate Functional Safety considerations and include Safety Integrity Level (SIL) ratings for instruments identified as critical safeguards.

• Review all existing HAZOP reports
• Review HAZOP action close-out reports
• Review existing SIL reports
Workshops
• Conduct a HAZOP revalidation workshop
• Conduct a subsequent SIL workshop based on the HAZOP findings for the Central Processing Facility (CPF) and associated wells
It is standard practice in the Oil & Gas industry to revalidate HAZOP studies every five years. The initial HAZOP for Groupement TouatGaz was conducted in April and May 2014, five years before production began.
The revalidation process ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices.
