Job Description
- Identify potential suppliers and maintain relationships with current ones. Evaluate and choose suppliers based on various factors, including cost, quality, reliability, and compliance.
- Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers, encompassing price, payment terms, and delivery schedules, to secure favorable agreements.
- Create, oversee, and manage purchase orders, ensuring they are accurate and complete. Monitor and track purchase orders throughout the procurement process.
- Conduct cost analyses and comparisons to determine the most cost-efficient suppliers and products while upholding quality standards.
- Continuously evaluate supplier performance, addressing any issues or concerns related to quality, timeliness, or other relevant factors.
- Ensure that all procurement activities conform to company policies and relevant laws and regulations, including ethical sourcing and sustainability considerations.
- Collaborate with Human Resource teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize excess or obsolete stock.
- Maintain precise records of all procurement activities, encompassing contracts, invoices, and receipts.
- Implement cost control strategies to reduce procurement expenses while maintaining product quality and nurturing supplier relationships.
As our ideal candidate, you will have:
- A bachelor’s degree in any Engineering fields.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Familiarity with pertinent procurement regulations and compliance standards.
- Keen attention to detail and robust analytical capabilities.
