Job Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment: Develop and update hazard identification, risk assessments, and emergency response plans.
- Reporting: Realization of Algerian regulatory studies, EDD, EIE, PII, SGS, EIPS/E for several clients in oil and gas.
- Office-based for design reviews, but frequently visiting project sites for audits.
- Regulatory Monitoring: Ensure all technical studies and operational procedures comply with local, national, and international environmental and safety regulations.
- Reports to the HSE lead in Algeria.
- Certifications would be an asset.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in HSE, process, or related fields
- 1 – 2 years in process safety or industrial safety role, preferably in oil & gas. Can accept a recent graduate with strong motivation.
- Mastery of the realization of EDD, HAZOP… reports and studies.
- Familiar with various risk analysis methodologies (HAZID, FEERA…),
- Basics of AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of intervention and emergency response plans.
- Knowledge in ATEX.
- Should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must have excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Required languages: French and English in writing and speaking
- Soft Skills: Rigor, strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to travel.
