Velosi is looking for a qualified and motivated Integrity Engineer to join our team in Dar El Beida, Algiers.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inspection and integrity of pressurized equipment, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Experience in conducting regulatory inspections of pressure equipment (ESP) in compliance with applicable industry standards, codes, and Algerian local regulations.
  • Analyze and interpret the results of regulatory inspections.
  • Proven experience in coordinating and participating in regulatory compliance projects for oil & gas, particularly those related to the integrity of facilities and equipment.
  • Hands-on experience in coordinating, conducting, and contributing to RBI (Risk-Based Inspection) studies in line with API 580 & API 581.
  • Experience in technical preparation for certification under ISO 17020 and accreditation by ALGERAC.
  • Good knowledge of the codes, standards, and regulatory requirements applicable to the sector.
  • Should be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • The ideal candidate must have the ability to work effectively with people at all levels in an organization.
  • Must have excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills: Rigor, strong communication, adaptability, and the ability to travel.

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petrochemical, Metallurgy, or related technical fields.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in inspection and integrity of pressurized equipment, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Fluency in Arabic, French, and English.

Additional Preferences: 

  • API certifications, such as API-510, API-580 are a plus.
  • Training of ISO 17020.
