Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Project Location(s): Lahore & Karachi, Pakistan
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering

Job Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review structural design calculations, drawings, and specifications for oil & gas facilities.
  • Perform structural analysis using industry-standard software (e.g., STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS).
  • Design steel structures, pipe racks, equipment foundations, and supporting structures.
  • Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (AISC, API, ACI, BS/Eurocodes).
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, mechanical, piping, and electrical engineers.
  • Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Provide technical support during construction, fabrication, and site execution phases.
  • Participate in design reviews, model reviews, and HAZID/HAZOP workshops where required.
  • Ensure timely delivery of engineering deliverables within project schedules.

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in structural design within the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
  • Proficiency in structural engineering software tools.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good understanding of oil & gas facility layouts and construction practices.
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Strong communication and technical reporting skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering projects.
  • Exposure to Middle East oil & gas projects is an advantage.
  • Experience in EPC or consultancy environment preferred.
