Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
Job Responsibilities
- Risk Assessment & Compliance
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with workplace processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Policy Development & Implementation
- Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain and update QHSE documentation and records.
- Training & Awareness
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on QHSE practices and protocols.
- Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
- Auditing & Continuous Improvement
- Plan and execute internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
- Incident Management
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers on QHSE matters.
- Ensure that customer and regulatory expectations are met or exceeded.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
- 5–10 years in QHSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
- Proficiency in QHSE management systems, risk assessment tools, and audit methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
