Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Project Location(s): Karachi, Pakistan
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.

Job Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessment & Compliance
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with workplace processes.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Policy Development & Implementation
    • Develop and implement QHSE policies and procedures aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain and update QHSE documentation and records.
  • Training & Awareness
    • Conduct training sessions to educate employees on QHSE practices and protocols.
    • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
  • Auditing & Continuous Improvement
    • Plan and execute internal and external audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement corrective and preventive actions based on audit findings.
  • Incident Management
    • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
    • Develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and suppliers on QHSE matters.
    • Ensure that customer and regulatory expectations are met or exceeded.

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years in QHSE roles, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or similar industries.
  • NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent certifications.
  • Proficiency in QHSE management systems, risk assessment tools, and audit methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
