Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform process design activities for FEED and EPC projects in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and international engineering standards.
  • Develop and review process engineering deliverables, including:
    • Process Design Basis
    • Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
    • Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
    • Heat & Material Balance
    • Equipment Datasheets
    • Line Sizing Calculations
    • Hydraulic Calculation Reports
    • Process Engineering Specifications
  • Perform steady-state process simulations using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or equivalent.
  • Conduct steady state and transient hydraulic analysis for piping systems, including:
    • Single-phase and multiphase flow analysis
    • Pressure drop calculations
    • Pump and compressor system evaluation
    • Pipeline and network hydraulic studies
  • Perform transient hydraulic analysis and surge studies using software such as PIPENET, KORF Hydraulics, PIPESIM, or equivalent.
  • Evaluate surge pressure scenarios, including:
    • Pump start-up/shutdown
    • Emergency shutdown (ESD) events
    • Valve operation scenarios
    • Check valve closure effects
    • Relief and protection system requirements

As our ideal candidate, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3–7 years of experience in process engineering for FEED and EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of process design principles, engineering practices, and international standards.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Aspen HYSYS / equivalent process simulation tools
    • PIPENET / KORF Hydraulics / PIPESIM or equivalent hydraulic software
  • Experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic modelling.
