Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Job Responsibilities
- Perform process design activities for FEED and EPC projects in accordance with project specifications, client requirements, and international engineering standards.
- Develop and review process engineering deliverables, including:
- Process Design Basis
- Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)
- Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Heat & Material Balance
- Equipment Datasheets
- Line Sizing Calculations
- Hydraulic Calculation Reports
- Process Engineering Specifications
- Perform steady-state process simulations using process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or equivalent.
- Conduct steady state and transient hydraulic analysis for piping systems, including:
- Single-phase and multiphase flow analysis
- Pressure drop calculations
- Pump and compressor system evaluation
- Pipeline and network hydraulic studies
- Perform transient hydraulic analysis and surge studies using software such as PIPENET, KORF Hydraulics, PIPESIM, or equivalent.
- Evaluate surge pressure scenarios, including:
- Pump start-up/shutdown
- Emergency shutdown (ESD) events
- Valve operation scenarios
- Check valve closure effects
- Relief and protection system requirements
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–7 years of experience in process engineering for FEED and EPC projects within the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy sectors.
- Strong knowledge of process design principles, engineering practices, and international standards.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Aspen HYSYS / equivalent process simulation tools
- PIPENET / KORF Hydraulics / PIPESIM or equivalent hydraulic software
- Experience in steady-state and transient hydraulic modelling.
