Job Description
- Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
- Installing, configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, DNS and DHCP and VPN.
- Configuring firewalls, routing and switching to maximize network efficiency and security
- Performing disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
- Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection software and email applications.
- Maintain servers and associated hardware.
- Coordinating computer network access and use.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks
- Providing technical support across the company.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Troubleshooting technical issues.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Experience:
02 to 5 years’ experience of relevant industry.
Primary Reporting To:
IT Network Lead.
Special Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 & 2012, experience with Switches, Routers and Firewall.
