Education: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field
Job Responsibilities
- Detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings for HVAC and plumbing systems using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Piping layouts, ducting systems, and schematics based on engineering inputs.
- Equipment Dimensional Drawings based on engineering inputs.
- Process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) of Projects.
- Isometrics drawings of Projects.
- Sectional Details of Equipment, Fittings, Devices etc. as per requirement
- Ensure designs are compliant with local codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and construction teams to understand project needs and constraints.
- Conduct regular reviews of designs to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project scope.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience as a draftsman in the HVAC or plumbing industry.
- Exposure to large-scale residential, commercial, or industrial projects.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, or similar).
- Knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems, including layouts, schematics, and components.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, NFPA, local plumbing codes).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
