Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Client Engagement
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both the public and private sectors, including contractors, consultants, developers, EPC companies, and industrial clients.
- Promote the company’s inspection, verification, testing, and engineering design services across all disciplines (Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, HVAC).
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and technical meetings to understand requirements and propose solutions.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts and industry stakeholders.
- Represent the company in seminars, exhibitions, and technical forums to enhance market visibility.
- Proposal & Tender Management
- Collaborate with technical teams to prepare EOIs, prequalification documents, technical proposals, and financial bids.
- Ensure that proposals are technically sound, commercially competitive, and compliant with tender requirements.
- Track and monitor tender announcements, bid submissions, and award status.
- Support contract negotiations and handover of awarded projects to the operations and engineering teams.
- Market Research & Strategic Growth
- Conduct market intelligence activities to identify new clients, competitors, and emerging trends in the engineering and construction industry.
- Provide management with actionable insights for business planning, sectoral growth, and service diversification.
- Contribute to setting annual business targets and sectoral strategies.
- Coordination & Reporting
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal technical departments to ensure efficient communication and timely proposal delivery.
- Maintain updated business development records, client database, and proposal tracker.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports on new inquiries, proposals, business leads, and revenue forecasts.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture from a recognized institution.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in business development, technical sales, or client relations within the engineering, inspection, or construction sector.
- Prior experience in promoting consultancy, inspection, design review, testing, or project management services will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of engineering disciplines — Civil, Structural, Architectural, MEP, and HVAC.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and document preparation (EOIs, PQs, proposals).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate technical services into client benefits.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently and as part of a team.
