Education: Associate degree or equivalent in architectural drafting, design, or a related field
Job Responsibilities
- Drafting Plans: Create architectural drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work alongside architects to understand design intent, project requirements, and modifications.
- Tender/Construction Stages: Prepare detailed Tender & construction drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details.
- 3D Modeling: Develop 3D models to aid in visualizing projects and facilitating discussions with Architects (Software Required: SketchUp & Lumion).
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Associate degree or equivalent in architectural drafting, design, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in architectural drafting or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD) and other design tools (e.g., SketchUp & Lumion).
- Strong understanding of architectural principles, drawings standards.
- Typically works in an office environment but may require site visits.
