Velosi is currently hiring a qualified Civil Draftsman with 3 to 5 years of experience to join the civil VISP Karachi team.

Project Location(s): Karachi, Pakistan
Education: Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare and produce detailed civil engineering drawings, as-built drawings, and plans in accordance with project specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to refine designs and ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Review and update technical drawings and plans as needed to reflect design changes or modifications.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in site surveys and inspections to ensure the accuracy of drawings.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- A Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of professional experience in civil drafting, including working with AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Required experience in creating as-built and new drawings for RCC, load-bearing structures, and structural steel across various engineering sectors.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing technical drawings.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and local construction standards.
Preferred Skills (Optional):
- Experience with 3D modeling or other advanced drafting software.
- Previous experience working mainly on buildings, warehouses, and foundation details and knowledge of bridges, culverts, drainage, etc.
