Job Responsibilities
- Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment (compressors, turbines, pumps, fans, blowers, gearboxes).
- Develop job plans using OEM manuals and best practices.
- Perform troubleshooting and RCA for failures (misalignment, vibration, lubrication, overheating, etc.).
- Lead major overhauls and equipment inspections.
- Monitor equipment health using vibration analysis, thermography, and lube oil analysis.
- Manage spare parts and material requests.
- Ensure compliance with API standards (610, 617, 673, 682, 686).
- Supervise contractors during shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Maintain CMMS/SAP data and update equipment history.
- Review drawings, P&IDs, datasheets, and performance curves.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience with rotating equipment in oil & gas, petrochemical, or refinery plants.
- Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines, seals, bearings, lubrication systems.
- Skilled in alignment (laser/optical), balancing, and vibration interpretation (ISO 10816/20816).
- Familiarity with SAP PM, Maximo, or similar CMMS.
- Strong troubleshooting and reporting abilities.
- Capability to lead maintenance teams.
