Job Responsibilities
- Set up, configure, and maintain network devices such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Install and configure network operating systems and software.
- Monitor network performance to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Identify and resolve connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and outages.
- Perform routine network troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
- Monitor and respond to security threats, unauthorized access, and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry standards.
- Provide technical support to users experiencing network-related issues.
- Assist in resolving connectivity and access problems for end-users.
- Conduct training for staff on best practices for network usage and security.
- Ensure regular data backups and develop disaster recovery plans.
- Test backup systems and restore procedures periodically.
- Respond to emergencies to minimize network downtime.
- Evaluate network performance and suggest improvements for speed and efficiency.
- Optimize bandwidth usage and resource allocation to support business needs.
- Generate reports on network performance, incidents, and security compliance.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 03 to 5 years’ experience of relevant industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016 & 2019, experience with Switches, Routers and Firewall.
