Job Responsibilities
- Performance of NDT (Ferro-scanning, Schmidt hammer and Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity testing)
- and Destructive (Core extraction and testing)
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards during testing procedures.
- Interpret test results accurately and assess the condition of the inspected components.
- Lead a team of NDT inspectors, assigning tasks, and providing guidance to ensure efficient and
- effective inspections.
- Develop inspection plans and schedules based on project requirements and timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and
- thorough inspections.
- Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection findings, test results, and recommendations
for maintenance or repairs.
- Prioritize inspection tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, including photographs, diagrams, and test data.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of NDT procedures.
- Review and verify the work of team members to ensure compliance with industry standards
and specifications. - Continuously assess and improve inspection techniques and methodologies to enhance overall
quality and efficiency. - Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards during inspections.
As our ideal candidate, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- 4 – 6 years of experience in NDT & DT Inspection.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and codes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and Revit or 3D will be plus.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
simultaneously. - Familiar with NDT standards such as ASTM C597, ASTM C803, ASTM C805, and ASTM C876,
ASTM C42/42M, etc.
