Deliverables
- Site Survey and Investigation-Topographical SurveyVelosi shall perform a Digital topographic survey and identify possible alignment considering the technical, financial, environmental, and social aspects of the project:
- Undertake a preliminary topographical survey along with the selected alignment. Velosi shall set out and establish reference points at appropriate locations as key control points of the survey. These points shall be used as benchmarks for identification and used during the subsequent engineering surveys. (“Geo-tagging”).
- The leveling shall be tied to the existing Government benchmarks in the area.
- Contour Plans shall be prepared.
- Velosi shall prepare topographic maps with contours at appropriate intervals, coordinates, and vicinity plans. All survey plans shall be prepared on reproducible materials of high quality.
- Natural drainage/ Nullahs’ profile and cross sections shall be surveyed and marked on the master plan.
- The existing Roads around the campus shall be surveyed and marked on the Master Plan.
- Geotechnical Survey– Undertake geotechnical investigations including soils and materials surveys. Velosi shall perform analysis and testing on disturbed and undisturbed soil samples, pavement samples as well as construction materials samples. This analysis and testing shall be performed in accordance with AASHTO and ASTM.- Number of boreholes for soil investigation will be discussed with the client depending on the area of the site.- 15 No’s boreholes at 10m depth.- In one borehole at every 1.0 m intervals the Standard Penetration Test shall be carried out up to 10 m in order to determine the load-bearing capacity of the different strata.
– If the N-value of 50 is encountered continuous 5 m, boring can be stopped. Because of stopping the boring due to the reason said above, the balance between the actual total boring depth and the contracted total boring depth shall be compensated by digging an additional borehole(s).
– Ground water table level will be measured.
– Different Geotechnical Investigation tests will be performed on soil samples like Hydrometer Analysis, Atterberg Limits (LL, PL & PI), Specific Gravity, Unconfined Compression Test (soil), Direct Shear test (soil), Bulk and dry density, Natural Moisture Content, Cl, So4, and organic matter (Soil), Resistivity Test, etc. - Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA)
- Master Planning and Detailed Design Stage
- Design Development Phase
- Preparation of Bidding Documents
- Assessment and Retrofitting of Earthquake shaken Shamsabad Campus
- Detailed Construction Supervision Stage
