Certified Internet of Things Practitioner (CIoTP)

  • Velosi is conducting Certified Internet of Things Practitioner Training online.

As IoT evolves into much larger-scale business applications in healthcare, manufacturing, and nearly every other industry imaginable, there is a greater need than ever for a general understanding of the technologies, tools, and methods that comprise IoT. The Certified Internet of Things Practitioner (CIoTP) certification is a comprehensive certification designed to validate those individuals in a wide range of job functions have a solid understanding of the key concepts and components that comprise an IoT ecosystem. IT professionals frequently have little or no experience working with embedded systems, sensor networks, actuators, real-time systems, and other IoT components, so this course is a one-step foundation for understanding how essential components interact with other systems that IT professionals are more familiar with, such as networks, cloud computing, and applications running on servers, desktop computers, and mobile devices.

Velosi has a “learn to ace” approach, our team comprises professional and expert trainers who ensure to enhance your ability and skills through grasping knowledge about the specified course effectively. This course extensively derives through various case studies by assembling and configuring an IoT device to work in a sensor network, participants will learn general strategies for planning, designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining an IoT system, building an IoT device based on an ESP8266 microcontroller, including analog and digital sensors, a web-based interface, MQTT messaging, and data encryption for better understanding. Last but not least our course will enable you to effectively learn how to take an idea and turn it into a solution from the ground up.

  • By completing this course, participants will be able to:

    • Develop and implement an effective plan for IoT implementation.
    • Build and program an IoT device accordingly.
    • Utilize wired and wireless connections to communicate with an IoT device.
    • Process sensor input and control an actuator.
    • Manage the security, privacy, and safety risks associated with IoT projects.
    • Manage an IoT prototyping and development project throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Training will be conducted via Microsoft Team Meeting. Meeting invites will be shared on the day before the first day of training.
