Velosi has been awarded a contract by Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) for Design Review, Structural Stability Assessment and Integrity Testing of their Zoom Towers installed more than fifteen years ago in South Zone in Karachi, Pakistan.
The scope of Velosi’s work includes, but is not limited to:
- Design review and inspection of foundation (mechanical, civil and steel structure) as per drawings and applicable international standards and good engineering practice.
- Ultrasonic Thickness Gauging
- Magnetic Particle Testing
- Schmidt Hammer Test
- Ferro Scanning of Rebar
- Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test
- Upper Structural Foundation Test
- List of recommendations for required modifications, repairs or dismantling.
