This comprehensive training equips participants with the knowledge and practical skills required to effectively investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. The program covers a structured, step-by-step methodology for conducting investigations, gathering and analyzing evidence, and preparing detailed reports in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

By the end of this training, participants will be able to:

• Understand the purpose and importance of incident investigations.
• Identify different types of incidents (near misses, minor, major).
• Apply a structured methodology for conducting investigations.
• Collect, document, and analyze evidence effectively.
• Perform root cause analysis using tools such as the “5 Whys” and Fishbone Diagram.
• Develop corrective and preventive action plans to prevent recurrence.
• Prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive investigation reports.
• Understand legal and regulatory requirements related to incident reporting.
