Forklift Inspection for Regulating Safety

Forklift Safety Inspection

Forklifts are necessary for moving or shifting various-sized objects that can be very heavy depending upon their industrial use. The utmost goal of forklift inspection is to regulate the safety of the workers and equipment. Therefore, it is important to thoroughly inspect the forklifts on site. This essential inspection methodology must be regularly carried out and systematically documented to identify any operating malfunctions. Obscure breakdowns can lead to unexpected perilous accidents, putting the safety of surrounding personnel at risk.

OSHA Standard:

OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Administration) standard 1910.178 covers mandatory requirements for all types of forklifts. In addition, it also sets forth regulations to carry out successful forklift inspections through trained and certified forklift operators.
