Velosi Completes Full-Scope Risk-Based Inspection Study Across Three Saudi Aramco Offshore Platforms
Velosi has successfully delivered a full-scope Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) study for a major Saudi Aramco offshore facility, covering subsea pipelines, risers, steel structures, and topside equipment across three platforms.
Executed in strict accordance with Saudi Aramco’s SAEP-343 engineering procedure and using API Plant Manager software, the study involved developing corrosion loops, inventory groups, and damage-mechanism assessments aligned with API 571 and API 581 standards.
Velosi’s team delivered a comprehensive suite of technical outputs, including corrosion loop drawings, inventory group drawings, IOWs, OSI recommendations, and a fully populated RBI software database covering equipment, piping, and PZVs.
The project was completed in scope, meeting and exceeding client expectations despite complex offshore challenges, reinforcing Velosi’s track record in asset integrity and mechanical integrity consulting across the GCC.
